Customer Appreciation Day

Each year, Frontier Power, Frontier Propane, and Frontier Supply Co. host Customer Appreciation Day in May. The event is not only for our customers, but for the community. We are thankful for the support we have and business from the community.

2019 Customer Appreciation Day Report

On May 3rd Frontier Power, Frontier Propane, and Frontier Supply hosted our annual Customer Appreciation Day behind Frontier Supply in our covered pavilion. Despite the off and on rain during the day, there was still a wonderful turnout of over 900 people in attendance. Everyone enjoyed hamburgers and hotdogs with treats from Whit’s and Coshocton Coffee Connection.

The Coshocton Hot Air Balloon Committee set up a display with information about the event to be held June 6-8 at the Coshocton Fairgrounds. This is a free event that Frontier Power has been pleased to sponsor for the past 13 years. In addition to the hot air balloons, the event encompasses a queen competition, entertainment, carnival rides, “Touch A Truck” program and lots of vendors. There will also be tethered balloon rides for those wanting to experience what it’s like to be soaring in a balloon! More information can be found on their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/coshoctonhotairballoonfestival/ or the website at https://www.coshoctonhotairballoonfestival.com/.

Corey Miller, Frontier Power 3rd Class Lineman and student in Ohio Electric Cooperatives’ Central Ohio Lineworker Training (COLT) program, demonstrated throughout the day how to climb a pole and perform different procedures such as changing an insulator. Displays were set up for Frontier Power and Frontier Propane as well as Frontier Supply and Progressive Water. Employees were available to answer any questions people had.

Nearly 400 people signed up for the special door prizes. Winners were:  $25.00 Frontier Value Certificates: Jim Fisher, Larry Proehl, and Mike Paisley. $10 Whit’s Gift Cards: Jael Malenke, James Deibel, and Pat Brown.  $10 Coffee Connection Gift Cards:  Lauri Bates, Bill Thornsley, and Penny Egler.  Stuffed totes:  James Bradford, Gerald Hothem, Jane Albert, and Linda Albertson.

We want to thank all of our customers as well as the public who stopped by to see us. We enjoy treating the community to this annual event!
